For the past 5 years, Natalie has immersed herself in the world of film photography, shooting over 300 rolls of film that document her loved ones, travels, and the often overlooked beauty of communities like Lennox and Inglewood. “I use photography as an extension of myself… a love language of sorts,” says Natalie. Her work reflects a deep love for her Mexican heritage and the people and places that have shaped her. “Growing up in one of the most under-resourced parts of LA, shaped my interest in using photography to change the narrative about what we consider beautiful and worth photographing.”
