Mars Wright Art

Mars Wright

Mars Wright is a self-taught mixed-media artist from Joshua Tree, California, whose work centers on accessibility, authenticity, self-love, and radical vulnerability. Working across fashion, textiles, murals, and guerrilla-style public art, Mars creates pieces that foster connection, visibility, and community.

Growing up in poverty without access to art supplies or formal training, Mars began drawing on free Priority Mail stickers from the post office. That early resourcefulness continues to shape his belief that anyone can make art that can change the world.

His work celebrates Trans joy and Queer visibility in Los Angeles. Mars has been featured on the cover of the Los Angeles Times and in publications including Business Insider, BuzzFeed, Out Magazine (Out100), The Advocate, and Apartment Therapy.
