Adults 21 years of age and older can legally purchase and consume cannabis in New York State, thanks to the Marijuana Regulation and Taxation Act (MRTA), which was signed into law in March 2021. You do not need to be a New York resident to shop, visitors are welcome.
Under New York law, you must be 21 or older to purchase up to 3 ounces of cannabis flower or up to 24 grams of cannabis concentrate per transaction in New York State. Medical patients with a valid MMIC may be eligible for different purchase limits based on their certification.
Yes. All customers are required to present a valid, government-issued photo I.D. — such as a driver’s license or passport — to verify their age before entering or making a purchase. Under New York law, you must be 21 or older to purchase cannabis in New York State.
New York State law permits cannabis consumption anywhere tobacco smoking is allowed, with some exceptions. Consumption is prohibited in vehicles, schools, workplaces, and certain public spaces. You are generally permitted to consume on private property, subject to any rules set by your landlord or property owner.
Onsite consumption is not currently available at The Artist Tree Farmingdale.
The Artist Tree Farmingdale accepts debit card and cash for in-store purchases. For online orders, we accept ACH, cash, and debit. For your convenience, we have an in-store ATM that accepts both credit and debit cards. You can also order online for express in-store pickup to skip the wait.
